Breedon Group plc is the largest independent construction materials group in the UK. We operate the country's largest cement plant, two cement import terminals, around 60 quarries, 26 asphalt plants, 200 ready-mixed concrete & mortar plants and three concrete block plants, employing around 2,300 people nationwide.

Pat Ward, CEO, discusses the highlights of the first half of 2018 during which the group increased underlying EBIT by 17% to £42.0 million and maintained EBIT margins, delivering a resilient performance in a challenging market, whilst also completing 4 transactions including the largest acquisition by the group to date of Lagan Group in Ireland.
