Acacia Mining is the largest gold producer in Tanzania and has been operating in the country for over a decade. During that time Acacia Mining have produced over 9 million ounces of gold from a combination of open pit and underground mines. The portfolio comprises three producing mines, all located in north-west Tanzania, together with several exploration projects at various stages of development, including exploration land holdings in the greenstone belts in Western Kenya, Western Burkina Faso and Western Mali.
