Andes Energia, which is listed on AIM and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, is focused on Latin America. In January 2015 the company acquired a 51% stake in Interoil, lifting group production from fields in Argentina and Colombia to 3,300 boepd. The company's holdings in Argentina include exposure to the world-class Vaca Muerta shale play, with the company enjoying the distinction of already producing from its shale oil resource base of more than 500 million boe.
